What I collect, and where it goes.
Short, because there is not much of it. One bloke, one board, and a phone that buzzes when somebody fills in the form.

The short version
I collect what I need to quote your job and then do it. It lands on my own board and on my phone. I do not sell it, I do not swap it, and I do not put you on a mailing list you never asked to be on.
What you hand me
The quote form asks for your name, your business, your suburb, your trade, a phone number or an email, and a line about what you need. The free website check asks for a web address and nothing else, no name and no account. If you buy something, Stripe collects the payment details and I never see a card number.
Where it goes
A quote request creates a row on my own project board and buzzes my phone, and that is the whole trip. A few companies hold a piece of it because I use their tools to run the business: Vercel hosts the site, Notion holds the board, Stripe handles payments, Google Workspace runs my email and Telegram delivers the alert. None of them is paying me for your details, which is the arrangement worth asking about.
Visits to this site
Vercel Web Analytics counts page views so I can tell which pages get read. Vercel’s own documentation says it works “without using any third-party cookies, instead end users are identified by a hash created from the incoming request”. There is no Facebook pixel here, no Google Ads remarketing tag, and nothing recording your mouse.
If I build you a phone agent
Calls to that number are recorded and written up, because a written record of who rang and what they wanted is the entire point of it. The recording and the write-up are yours. Your callers get told the call is recorded, and that line goes into the greeting when we set yours up. The services that make it work are Vapi, Deepgram and Anthropic, plus whichever voice we pick together.
If I contacted you and you never asked me to
My name and my ABN are on the message and there is always a way to stop it. Say stop, in any words you like, and you are off for good. I do not put you back on months later because a new list turned up with your name on it.
Having it deleted
Email hello@tradesorted.com.au or ring 0459 246 503 and ask. I delete the row, you do not have to give a reason, and the only exception is anything attached to an invoice, which has to be kept as long as the tax rules say. If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
